Integrated action concept

Active centre Hattersheim am Main

Project:	Integrated action concept for the funding programme “Active centre in Hessen”. The integrated action concept is the basis for the local implementation of the funding programme. The centre's relevant players have been included in the planning process, in particular through the establishment of the “Local Partnership”.
Objective:	Strengthening retail trade, living areas and cultural use for the long-term enlivenment of the Hattersheim inner city. Increasing the quality of public spaces and providing areas that have been separated up to now with their own profiles. Development of targeted strategies to combat vacancies and develop unused areas.
Location:	Hattersheim am Main (Main-Taunus district)
Basis:	On behalf of the city of Hattersheim am Main
Course of events:	2008 Inclusion in the programme “Active centre in Hessen”. Implementation of a detailed review including surveys of the property owners, consultations with experts and citizens' meetings. Analysis of strengths and weaknesses. Development of scenarios and development objectives in certain areas for the future development of the inner city as well as drafting strategies and concrete measures. Cost planning, finance planning and time scheduling. Project period: June to December 2009.

Since mid-September 2010, the employees of NH ProjektStadt have been situated in the district office in Frankfurter Straße. From there they are supporting local players and have initiated numerous projects.
