Increasing energy and personnel costs, defective energy balances of communal buildings, high maintenance backlog in the basic structure of the building, increasing demands from the users – with a lack of transparency of the income and expenses, all of this leads to larger financial stress in the local households. The fulfillment of the tasks of the community centers for the "coverage of communal public interest” is thus often already endangered.
NH ProjektStadt and the institute for construction at the technical university in Darmstadt (TUD) have founded the "competence center community centers" in order to work together in a new uniform consulting approach and with the concentration on cost optimization, show off improved usage options for the communes.
The TUD brings along its many experiences in the area of full cost pricing (process cost pricing) and the economic evaluation of communal real estate assets in the cooperation; NW ProjektStadt contributes their knowledge for real estate and location analysis and development.
