More room for the station, PPP project: City station and senior apartments on the Platz der Deutschen Einheit in Wiesbaden

When the old station downtown ran out of room for clerks, suspects, traffic offenders, criminals, citizens looking for help, mountains of files and office materials, there was only one alternative: move! But where? The state of Hesse negotiated and advertised for a building project as a Public Private Partnership.

From the group of bidders, the Nassauische Heimstätte /Wohnstadt Group emerged as winner with their development brand, NH ProjektStadt. Their economical offer and proposal for mixed use of living and business space were the deciding factors. As leading consortium partner, NH ProjektStadt guides the project team. This consists of the Wiesbaden architectural office, Kissler + Effgen, as general planner, the Bilfinger Berger building company as general construction company and HSG Technischer Service GmbH, as facility management company.

Construction:	Construction of a new building for the police station that satisfies the demands of today‘s modern administration. In addition to this, appreciation of the western city center of Wiesbaden. As a plus, 48 additional apartments are developed, publicly subsidized in part, as well as business areas.

Services:	Planning consortium services under the direction of NH ProjektStadt: construction, financing, technical, commercial and infrastructure building management for 30 years. An additional task in this connection is energy management and the optimization of other areas relating to operational costs according to commercial aspects.
